Target killer among 21 arrested in Karachi
KARACHI (BBC World News) – Crackdown against criminal elements continues in Karachi as police 21 persons, including a target killer, were taken into custody during police operation in different parts of the city on Wednesday, BBC World News reported.
According to SSP West, Pir Muhammad Shah, target killer Alla-ud-Din was arrested by Pirabad Police from Manghupir Road. Arms, a hand grenade and a huge quantity of narcotics were recovered from his possession.
SSP West further informed that target killer Alla-ud-Din was member of Nawab Cutting Group and was involved in killing three persons for just Rs 50,000.
On the other hand, police conducted search operation in Mominabad area of Orangi Town and apprehended at least 20 suspects during house-to-house search.
Police sources said that the arrested persons were shifted to police station for further investigation.
