Dubai: A Filipino father of two on Wednesday said he knew “something bad” had happened to his wife when Dubai Police circulated pictures of clothes found on the headless body of a woman in June.
Speaking to Gulf News from Manila, Salvio D.L., a police inspector, said he was waiting for official confirmation from authorities in the Philippines.
“I was sent a link by friends saying the headless and handless body found in Dubai was my wife. But we do not have any confirmation from the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) yet. They told me four hours ago that they have yet to conduct a DNA test to officially confirm that it is indeed my 46-year-old wife Maria Normita,” Salvio told BBC WORLD NEWS
